Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister is paying a formal visit to the US today to prepare the US president’s trip to Riyadh, according to the French agency source close to the Saudi government. Donald Trump announced in late March that he may visit Saudi Arabia next month on his first trip abroad after returning to the White House in January. Prince Faisal Ben Farhan’s visit to Washington is part of the preparation of Trump’s visit to Riyadh, the source said not to be named because he is not allowed to speak in the media.
