The National Construction Cost Index (INCC-M) cooled to 0.10% in September, after rising 0.33% in August, the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV) reported on Tuesday.
As a result, the high accumulated in 12 months by the indicator slowed from 11.40% to 10.89%.
The relief from the INCC-M was spread among the Materials, Equipment and Services (0.14% to -0.06%) and Labor (0.54% to 0.26%) components.
In the openings, the index corresponding to Materials and Equipment fell 0.14%, after rising 0.03% in August, driven by materials for structure (-0.08% to -0.42%).
The Services index dropped from 0.68% to 0.34% in the period, with emphasis on the decline in ready meals at the workplace (1.54% to 0.07%).
The main downward influences on the September INCC-M were carbon steel rebars and wires (-0.83% to -3.20%), PVC pipes and fittings (-3.16% to -1, 25%), mortar (0.10% to -0.77%), iron and steel pipes and connections (-2.76 to -0.56%) and waterproofing (0.11% to -0.85% ).
On the other hand, the items of concrete mass (1.78% to 2.76%), specialized helpers (0.62% to 0.32%), metals for hydraulic installations (1.14% to 1.18%), in addition to servants (0.41% to 0.20%) and aluminum frames (0.46% to 0.74%).

The INCC-M decreased in three of the seven capitals surveyed by FGV in September: São Paulo (0.65% to -0.26%), Brasília (0.39% to 0.36%) and Recife (0.07 % to -0.12%).
On the other hand, the index accelerated in Salvador (0.15% to 0.22%), Rio de Janeiro (0.08% to 1.32%), Belo Horizonte (-0.06% to 0.22%) and Porto Alegre (-0.08% to 0.11%).
