“Window” of significant increases in contributions in favor of supplementary insurance in 2023 opens high inflation this year.
As a circular of e-EFKA reminds (according to Vroutsi law of 2020) in relation to the reduction of the contributions of auxiliary for employees and professionals from June 1, 2022, from 2023 and for another year (2024), these contributions will be adjusted. during inflation. Given the official forecasts for inflation of 5% -6% this year paves the way for corresponding increases in ancillary contributions in 2023.
The said circular states that pursuant to the provisions of article 97 of law 4387/2016, as in force, from 01.06.2022 there is a reduction in the contributions of the ancillary insurance sector for employees and non-employees.
A) Employees (Old and Young – Law 2084/1992) of private and public sector (IDACHIDOX)
The total contribution rate is set / reduced to 6% (from 6.50%), shared equally (from 3%) with the insured and the employer. This change also concerns those covered by the insurance of T.E.K.A.
B) Unemployed (Self-employed, Self-employed & Farmers) The amounts of contributions of the Auxiliary Insurance Branch for:
a) Self-employed & El. Professionals,
b) Insured in the Auxiliary Capital Insurance Fund (T.E.K.A.) and c) Unemployed insured (Health – Self-employed and insured of the OGA) who are optionally subject to the insurance of the Auxiliary Division from 1/1/2021 according to with the provisions of article 41 of law 4670/2020, are reduced and are valid from 01.06.2022, per insurance category, as follows:
It is pointed out that from 01.01.2023 to 31.12.2024 the amounts of contributions for each category in the Auxiliary Insurance Sector will be increased by a certificate of the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, at the rate of change of the average annual general consumer price index of the previous year. In case of a negative value of the above percentage, the amount of the contribution will remain at the levels of the previous year.
From 01.01.2025 onwards the above amounts of insurance categories will be increased annually according to the wage change index.
