The number of people whose disappearance is reported to the Red Cross has increased by about 70% in the last five years, as conflicts have multiplied and mass immigration has been enhanced, the organization said today, demanding the renovation of countries in the law of war. “The increasing number of missing is a clear reminder that the warring sides and those who support them fail to protect people during the war,” said Pierre Creenbil, General Manager of the International Red Cross Committee (DES).
