A tragic incident occurred on Saturday night in East Houston, when an 11-year-old was shot while participating in the “Ding-Dong-Ditch” game. A witness allegedly saw the child running away from a house after rang the bell shortly before he was shot. The child was probably hanging out with two other people. The incident happened shortly before 23:00 in the 9700 area on Racine Street. Patrols who responded to the call found the 11 -year -old injured. He was immediately taken to the hospital, but according to a recent briefing on Sunday noon he succumbed to his injuries.
