An elderly woman in Long Island shot her neighbor in the face with a flare during a conflict, in a closed community of pensioners, authorities said on Tuesday. Kathlene Schuman, 76, shot her 67 -year -old neighbor when a quarrel outside their homes in Belmont Vistas Senior Apartments at West Babylon on Monday night, as confirmed by the community administration. “We are aware of a dispute that occurred last night between two residents,” a spokesman for Conifer LLC said in a management company overseeing Belmont Vistas in a statement.
