India: Over 23,000 cases of coronavirus, 117 deaths in 24 hours

THE India announced today Friday that the previous 24 hours have been confirmed 23,285 cases of SARS-CoV-2, with people infected with the new coronavirus reaching their 11.308.846.

At the same time, the deaths of another 117 patients with COVID-19 increased the pandemic rate to 158,306 dead up to this stage.

The selected active cases increased to 197,237 (+ 8,011 compared to the previous one).

The number of new coronavirus infections in India has been rising in recent days, raising concerns about the possibility of a new wave in the state, which has the second highest number of cases in the world, according to AMPE.

The second, massive phase of the immunization campaign in the vast Asian country began last week. So far more than 26 million people have received at least the first dose of their vaccine.
