An indigenous was seriously injured, in need of hospital care at dawn on Thursday (27) in Surucucu, Yanomami Indigenous Land region of Roraima. The action was carried out by the Brazilian Air Force (FAB), with the help of a night vision device, which allows the visualization of images at a light level that approaches the total darkness of the place.
The support was requested by the National Foundation of Indigenous Peoples (Funai). An aircraft moved with a medical team, starting from Boa Vista Air Base, upon arriving at the scene, the man had been stabilized by local health professionals.
The patient was treated in Boa Vista (RO) by the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) team and then sent to Roraima General Hospital.
