A new complaint and suggestion portal, powered by the Polygon blockchain, aims to help register claims without fear of rejection or manipulation.
Polygon co-founder Sandeep Nailwal said that the police in the Indian city of Firozabad consider the blockchain complaints portal an important tool in the fight against crime, investigation of criminal and corruption offences.
The pilot project is significant for the country, police customers say, as it is the first time India’s law enforcement agencies will use blockchain technology.
The complaints portal is built on top of Polygon using the modular OxPolygon blockchain. The modular solution will allow you to create a network for specialized and custom functions.
When registering a complaint, the system will generate a unique number. It should also generate automatic confirmation of receipt of the complaint via SMS and e-mail.
Earlier, the law enforcement authorities of the emirate of Dubai announced their intention to use blockchain technology to track illegal transactions with cryptocurrencies.
