Fifteen years after “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” and 42 since the release of the first film, Harrison Ford returns to the legendary role of archeologist Indiana Jones to face the latest adventure.
The fifth and final feature of the franchise hits Brazilian theaters this Thursday (29).
“Indiana Jones and the Relic of Destiny” It’s 1969 and Indy, struggling to fit into a world that seems to have outgrown him, is about to retire after spending more than a decade teaching at a university in New York.
A talented con artist, Helena steals it and quickly leaves the country to sell the artifact to the highest bidder. Left Indy with no choice but to go after her, he dusts off his hat and puts on his leather jacket for one last adventure.
Meanwhile, an old enemy, Jürgen Voller, played by Mads Mikkaelsen a former Nazi who now works as a physicist in the US space program, has his own plans for the relic: a gruesome scheme that could change the course of world history.

In an interview with the press, Harrison Ford highlighted that the last few years have not been inspiring for the character, who is ready to give up academic life and adventures – which ended up being in the past.
“O we found it down like we’ve never seen it before. But dramatically it works really well because it presents Phoebe as the character that really spurs the plot going on,” she said.
For Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Helena is the right person to enter Indy’s life, who is “at an emotional dead end”.
“She not only brings a sense of joy from the past and the relationship he had with her father. [Basil], but also a passion for archeology, for adventure. And I think that lights it up again,” he declared.

“I have a lot of friends who are film directors because of Indiana Jones. As a kid I just wanted to be him or be there with him. It is a great honor to be, 42 years later, part of this world”, he declared.
