Indie developer RedDeer is ready to implement NFT in video games

RedDeer.games announced its readiness to become a member of the industry of non-fungible tokens and implement them in their digital products.

RedDeer.games co-founder and CEO Michał Lisiecki informedthat the company has formed a dedicated NFT development department. Intellectual property specialists who have previously worked with The Walt Disney Company and Eurosport are involved in the work. The company plans to continue to attract qualified employees who will be involved in the creation of game projects using NFT.

Bartłomiej Kossakowski, Head of Game Marketing, who heads the NFT department, says that RedDeer.games is already in talks with several participants in the non-fungible token industry and is conducting in-depth market analysis to select the most effective models for monetizing unique tokens.

The developer has signed a letter of intent with a blockchain, NFT and DeFi company. However, the name of this company has not yet been disclosed.

“The creation of games using blockchain and non-fungible tokens is becoming more and more common. We will start implementing NFT with simple steps, from trading tokens on the OpenSea platform to creating projects on the “Play to earn” model. The next step will be to create an ecosystem that will allow gamers to take advantage of DeFi on a larger scale and move to Web 3.0. All this will take some time, but NFTs are already becoming part of the gaming industry,” says Lisetsky.

The position of RedDeer.Games in relation to NFTs is not shared by all developers and publishers. Recently, the gaming giant Electronic Arts said that it would not rush to introduce tokens into its products, as it doubts their value to gamers. And Itch.io, an indie game hosting service, called the NFT industry a scam.
