Indonesian Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati said G20 economic leaders at their meeting in Bali also agreed to maintain the spirit of cooperation and multilateralism.

Japanese Finance Minister Shunichi Suzuki said on Saturday that Group of 20 (G20) finance leaders reaffirmed their agreement on monetary policy and warned that the yen’s recent moves were volatile.

“We are seeing strong volatility in the foreign exchange market, so we need to monitor market movements with a strong sense of urgency,” Suzuki told reporters after attending the G20 economic leaders’ meeting in Bali.
