According to their calculations, in the fourth quarter of 2021, shipments of these devices increased by 3.2% compared to the previous quarter. In the Asia-Pacific region, including China, shipments in the fourth quarter remained at the level of the third quarter. Japan and North America even saw declines. Shipments in Western Europe in the fourth quarter grew by almost 14% compared to the third quarter. Finally, in the EMEA region, which includes Europe, the Middle East and Africa, the fall was 12.5%.
