The National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (Inep) released, this Thursday (8), the preliminary result of the second stage of the National Exam for the Revalidation of Medical Diplomas Issued by a Foreign Higher Education Institution (Revalidated) 2023/2 .
Along with the preliminary result, the institute released, on the portal and in the Revalida System, the definitive versions of the Expected Standard of Procedures (PEP), a type of template with information about the set of procedures expected of participants.
The period for submitting appeals to the result begins today and ends next Tuesday (13). The final results of Revalida 2023/2 will be released on March 19.
Composed of two stages (theory and practice), the national exam supports the process of revalidation, in Brazil, of the medical degree issued abroad. The exam is aimed both at foreigners who graduated in medicine outside Brazil and at Brazilians who graduated in another country and want to practice the profession in their homeland.
In this edition, the tests were administered on the 2nd and 3rd of December, in ten Brazilian cities (Belo Horizonte (MG), Brasília (DF), Curitiba (PR), Florianópolis (SC), Goiânia (GO), Manaus (AM) , Porto Alegre (RS), Salvador (BA), São Luiz (MA) and Uberlândia (MG)) 1,591 participants registered.
