Samsung is announcing a new low-cost smartphone on September 29th, the Galaxy F42 5G. In addition, the Galaxy M52 5G is expected to be announced on the same day.
The smartphone was previously spotted in the Google Play Console database. The device is equipped with a teardrop notch screen, as well as a single-chip system MediaTek Dimensity 700. The smartphone runs on Android 11 operating system, it received 6 GB of RAM and a side fingerprint scanner.
It is reported that the Galaxy F42 5G may have a 6.6-inch FHD + LCD panel. The front camera will have a resolution of 8 megapixels, while the main camera will be equipped with image sensors with a resolution of 64, 5 and 2 megapixels.
