Inexpensive Vivo Y75s unveiled: up to 12 GB of RAM, but old Android

Earlier this year, Vivo announced the Y75 5G smartphone with a Dimensity 700 processor, and some time later released the Y75 4G powered by the Helio G96 chipset. Now the company has expanded the Y series by introducing the Y75s again on the Dimensity 700 platform.

The novelty refers to mid-range smartphones, its main feature is the extended amount of RAM, which reaches 12 GB. At the same time, the drive has 256 GB, expandable with microSD cards up to 1 TB. The Vivo Y75s display has a diagonal of 6.58 inches, FullHD + resolution and a refresh rate of 60 Hz. There is a cutout at the top for the 8-megapixel camera. The main camera unit combines 64, 8 and 2 megapixel modules.

Other highlights of the Vivo Y75s include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging capability. As for the software, it uses OriginOS Ocean based on the already outdated version 11 of Android.

Vivo Y75s has not yet officially gone on sale, but the cost of new items is already known. The 8/256 GB version of the smartphone costs 1,899 yuan (16,650 rubles), while the 12/256 GB version costs 2,199 yuan (19,270 rubles). Users will be able to choose the device in two color options – Black and Gradient.
