“In this category of expense, it is worth mentioning the behavior of the gasoline item, whose price varied -8.68%, compared to -9.61% in the previous edition of the IPC-S”, highlights the research in a note.
Housing was another highlight, going from 0.23% to 0.40% in the period. In this group, Ibre highlights the behavior of residential electricity tariffs, which went from -0.72% to -0.07%.
Food, on the other hand, had a greater fall than that recorded last month, from -0.28% to -0.29%. Other groups with a decrease in rates were Education, Reading and Recreation (4.94% to 4.36%), Health and Personal Care (0.66% to 0.59%), Communication (-0.46% to -0 .52%), Clothing (0.42% to 0.38%), Miscellaneous Expenses (0.07% to 0.04%).
In these expense categories, Ibre highlights the behavior of airline tickets (26.94% to 23.75%), toiletries and personal care (1.01% to 0.49%), telephony, internet and TV combo subscription (-0.57% to -1.16%), watches and jewelry (0.11% to -0.25%), cigarettes (0.79% to 0.28%) and dairy products (-3, 94% to -4.86%).
