Atlanta Federal Reserve Chairman Raphael Bostic said on Wednesday that the United States is in a turbulent time and added that volatility in inflation is expected, as reported Reuters.
“Workers are taking a step back and reflecting on the quality of jobs, the relationship with the workplace,” Bostic said, reiterating that the Federal Reserve would take notice if inflation were to develop worryingly. “Most companies do not expect price pressures to persist, but the economy is still in a transition phase.”
