This Tuesday (21), the Civil Police of Itapema (SC) learned, through social media, about the death of influencer Ricardo Godoi, who had a cardiorespiratory arrest while undergoing general anesthesia to get a tattoo. The businessman was buried without communication from the police, who performed the exhumation of the body.
The Civil Police (PC) highlights the importance of the body undergoing a forensic examination before being buried, to provide further clarification on the influencer’s death. Recognizing that there are still doubts about the incident, the police request was accepted by the authorities.
The man passed away on Monday (20), however, no family member or doctor present at the hospital filed a police report informing the facts, as a result, the information arrived contradictory to the investigation.
According to information from the civil police, the death certificate states that there was respiratory arrest, cardiac arrest and use of anabolic steroids. A family member of Ricardo stated that he had not used these substances for five months and for this reason the tests would have shown that he was cleared to get the tattoo.
The investigations are ongoing and the medical record of care, exams and the list of the entire technical team that participated in the procedure was requested by the police.
