Brazilian YouTuber Klenio Livio, aged 35, passed away this Friday morning (11) after a fight against cancer. He was known for his YouTube channel called “K Tech”, where he posted videos about technology, including unboxings, reviews and evaluations of electronic devices.
The channel has more than one million subscribers. The death announcement was made on his official Instagram page. See who the influencer was.
In February, Klenion had revealed to his followers that he was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma, an aggressive type of cancer that affects skeletal muscles. He lived in Portugal with his wife, Ívina Livio, and their two daughters, where he faced months of treatment.
During his absence, technology influencers came together to keep the K Tech channel active, posting content in support of Klenion.
Evolution of the disease
In June, the influencer made his last appearance on the channel, already undergoing chemotherapy treatment, updating his subscribers on his health status.
He had undergone a PET scan, which revealed that the cancer had spread, mainly affecting the lungs. Chemotherapy was unsuccessful in reversing the condition.
After the illness worsened, influencer Rodrigo Vaz took on the responsibility of keeping subscribers informed about Klenion’s condition. At the end of August, Rodrigo announced that his friend’s condition had worsened even further, with the cancer spreading to the lungs and other organs, such as the spleen.
