Digital influencer Igor Viana, 24, mocked military police officers and jokingly imitated the mannerisms of his 2-year-old daughter, who has cerebral palsy. His attitude was reported by guardianship counselor Grazielle Ramos, who was at the family home, in Anápolis, to remove the child from his parents last Monday (24).
According to the counselor, since last week, the Guardianship Council has been working on the case of this family of influencers. Initially, they were working confidentially so as not to hinder the investigations opened by the Civil Police of Goiás.
The police are investigating possible crimes of mistreatment, embarrassment and embezzlement by the girl’s parents, who were allegedly diverting money from donations made by the family’s followers on social media, collected to contribute to the child’s treatment.
When the Guardian Council representative was at the influencers’ house, Igor allegedly made jokes about his daughter’s illness.
“He even imitated the disabled child, he was talking the whole time that I did it as a favor for him, because now he is going to become famous and always with a lot of mockery”, said Grazielle.
According to her, the couple thought it was a routine visit, just for inspection. Even so, they had their bags packed, ready to run away from home. The counselor reports that she called the Military Police because the parents were threatening to leave the residence.
“The PM arrived and gave me full support. Even with the presence of the PM, he was funny, he was mocked. He laughed at the police. The police were outraged by the situation. He imitated the disabled child for whoever was there at the door to see. He created a theater”, explained Grazielle.
After days of investigation, the Guardianship Council decided to leave the children in the care of their paternal grandparents, who would be the girl’s closest relatives capable of providing the necessary care to her.
“When I said that I was going to hand the child over to his paternal grandmother, who is his mother, he started cursing that mother,” added the counselor.
According to the professional, the council continues to monitor the child, who is well under the care of her grandparents, who are continuing the girl’s treatment and do not agree with the attitude of the influencer couple.
