An unusual complication associated with coronavirus makes this one influence and “beauty queen” to feel more like a rude little kid. Former Miss Universe from Australia Olivia Molly Rogers recently joined Instagram to report her experiences with a lesser known side effect after infection with covid-19: Continuous belching.
While some of the symptoms of the virus are now quite common – including loss of smell and taste but also runny nose – Rogers says the disease has had a more specific impact on her.
“I have the most accidental (but somewhat funny) symptom,” the 29-year-old wrote in her Instagram Stories on Monday. “I can not stop flowing.”
The condition, he says, makes her feel a bit “wild”, but she treats it with passion.
“I can not stop flowing”
The strange symptom appeared immediately after the test that tested positive for coronavirus. While she quickly developed other coronavirus-related symptoms, the belching was what kept her from bothering her until she finally confirmed her diagnosis with a positive PCR test.
He then searched Google and quickly learned that belching is, in fact, a symptom of covid.
“I can not stop flowing. “I did a Google search for it and it’s obviously part of COVID gastrointestinal complications, but not so common,” he wrote on Instagram. “It’s good to know that my persistent belching didn’t just mean I got a little wild.”
Indeed, while overeating is not included in the CDC’s short list of COVID symptoms, this and other gastrointestinal problems are known consequences of the disease.
In addition to belching, the model also says that she experiences uncomfortable pains in the body and joints, “redness” around her eyes, itching in the throat, runny nose and cough.
