The Public Ministry of Paraíba is investigating digital influencer Hytalo Santos for exploiting children and adolescents through dances with sexual connotations. The information was confirmed by the agency to CNN this Tuesday (17).
According to the MP, prosecutor Ana Maria França confirmed that there is a procedure at the Prosecutor’s Office that investigates complaints against the digital influencer.
Hytalo has almost 17 million followers on social media, where he often shares his daily life and dance videos.
The influencer was reported through “Disque 100”, through which the case reached the Public Ministry. The prosecutor emphasizes that a procedure was initiated to investigate the content of the posts and videos released by Hytalo, in addition to determining the ages of the people who appear in these videos and their relationship with him.
“I am awaiting the required information. We will analyze everything in order to identify any criminal practices provided for in the Child and Adolescent Statute. If confirmed, the MP-PB will take the appropriate measures”, said the prosecutor.
On social media, the influencer spoke about the case and highlighted his relationship with the people who frequent his home. The influencer made reference to “children”, as he usually calls the children and teenagers he lives with.
“In my house there are my cubs who spend a lot of their time with me and a lot of their time with their mothers. The mothers always followed everything”, highlighted Hytalo.
The influencer highlights that the two main teenagers who are normally linked to the complaints are already emancipated. Furthermore, Hytalo claims that he has a good relationship with the mothers of the minors. “Everything has the consent of mothers and even emancipated girls,” said the influencer.
Hytalo says he has legal advice that monitors the complaints. THE CNN tries to contact Hytalo’s defense and the space remains open for demonstrations.
