Dead by gunfire from armed civilians is the driver of the truck that crashed into a bus stop full of people on Saturday morning in Tel Aviv’s Gillot district. According to the Times of Israel, the heavy vehicle was driven by an armed man, who then got out and indiscriminately attacked bystanders before being shot dead. As reported by Mega, there are reports of six dead, including the attacker, which, however, have not been confirmed by the Israeli authorities. The Israeli government is now treating the incident as an act of terrorism. From the incident there are at least 30 injured, while six are in serious condition. “The circumstances under which the incident occurred are currently being investigated,” Israel Police said in a statement. “At 10:08 (local time and Greek time) we were informed (…) that a truck crashed into a bus stop on Aharon Yariv Avenue in Ramat Hasharon.
