Regarding the continued ordersThese fell by 170,000 in the week ended December 12 to 5,337,000, lower than the market consensus of 5,558,000, and the lowest since the beginning of the impact of the pandemic.
The report of durable goods requests and the personal income and expense report also came out. The dollar rose slightly after them. In general it was mixed data, without big surprises.
