Rockets that hit Kyiv and Kharkiv, Ukraine this morning, where a residential building was partially destroyed, injured people, authorities in the two cities said.
In Kharkiv, “according to preliminary data, children were injured by shards of glass and a woman was also injured,” local official Serhiy Bolvinov said, while at least two injuries were reported in Kyiv, according to city authorities.

Serhiy Popko, head of the Kyiv military administration, and the military administration of the region, which includes the capital, reported through their channels on the Telegram platform that air defense systems took action to repel the Russian missile attack.
“Strong explosions, our house … was shaking,” MP Irina Gerashenko wrote on her Telegram account.
Eyewitnesses told Reuters they heard waves of explosions in and around Kiev.
Popko said cars caught fire during the attack in Kyiv's Sviatoshyn district, west of the capital's center.
Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov also wrote on Telegram that Russia targeted his city as well.
“Kharkov is being hit again – several explosions have already occurred”he said.
