The National Institute of Meteorology (Inmet) issued red alert of great danger, of low humidity for the states of Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, São Paulo, Minas Gerais and Goiás.
The institute warned, in a newsletter, that relative air humidity should remain below 12% in areas of these states.
According to Inmet, there is a “great risk” of forest fires and hazards to human health .

To the affected areas The alert includes the south-central part of Mato Grosso, the east of Mato Grosso do Sul, the north-central part of Mato Grosso do Sul, the southeast of Mato Grosso, Araçatuba, São José do Rio Preto, the south of Goiás, the southern Pantanal region of Mato Grosso, the southwest of Mato Grosso, the Triângulo Mineiro region and the Alto Paranaíba region.
