Innovation in Brazilian companies was the topic that marked the second day of the South Summit Brazil, this Thursday (21), in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul.
The event is considered one of the largest in the world in the technology segment and was attended by parliamentarians from more than 50 countries.
Among the speakers this Thursday were the businesswoman Luiza Trajano from Magazine Luiza stores, and Tarciana Medeiros, president of Banco do Brasil.
They talked about how large Brazilian companies can continue to innovate. At one point, Luiza stated that physical stores will not end because of digital commerce.
Afterwards, it was Alex Szapiro's turn, leader of Softbank, to speak. He spoke about his journey in bigtechs and about the market and investments.
The third edition of the South Summit brings together companies, investment funds and startups. More than 24,000 people are expected to attend the event until its last day, on Friday (22).
