InPa: the portal with a thousand open positions in the public administration

The public administration is looking for a thousand professionals of different types including engineers, architects, biologists, legal and IT experts. An impressive number of opportunities to collaborate with the public sector, to which it is now possible to apply with a certain simplicity.

The offices assigned, according to what can be read on the Government website, have a three-year duration. 40% of the resources selected will be allocated to regional offices, municipal and provincial administrations in the South, while 60% to those in the center and north. The primary purpose of this recruitment is to enhance the management of the most complex procedures, recovering arrears and shortening the actual time necessary for their conclusion. All within the framework of the simplifications envisaged by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR).

The deadlines are quite tight: you must submit your application by 2 pm of 6 December 2021. After this time, lists of suitable professionals will be produced with the profiles sought and sent to the different regions. The latter will be responsible for identifying, by 31 December 2021, the professionals to whom the assignment is to be conferred.

The new portal where to apply

InPa, this is the name of the new portal dedicated to the recruitment of resources by the public administration. Presented on November 23, 2021 by Minister Renato Brunetta, this site contains the map of job opportunities in the public sector.

Right here it is possible to apply both for professional opportunities connected to the PNRR and for ordinary public competitions (a first curtain in the search tool allows you to choose one possibility or the other). A tool in step with the times (finally), to the realization of which Almaviva and LinkedIn, a social network present in our country for the past 10 years, have contributed.

Minister Brunetta invited all Italians to enter their curriculum vitae on the platform because “these will be years full of opportunities in terms of the demand for jobs by public administrations, to which inPA offers a potential pool of at least 5.6 million curricula, in addition to the 15 million members of LinkedIn Italy, with whom a special partnership has been signed. To carry out the projects and investments of the NRP, there will be a need for professionals, technicians, specialized figures to be hired with fixed-term contracts and collaboration assignments ».

The minister also provided some numbers on the possibilities that are opening up in the public sector. First of all on the timing of the selections, which today last 86 days on average. Since May 2021 alone, over 20 thousand positions have been identified for which a suitable profile has been identified and “with the release of the turnover there will be 100-120 thousand entries per year by ordinary means, for an indefinite period: we expect 5-600 thousand new hires in the next five years “.

In short, large numbers that hopefully will be substantiated by quality profiles because we are all aware of how public administrations in many cases need a change of pace.

An agile search

This is what inPA proposes: first of all, the type of selection is chosen between competition and temporary opportunities aimed at professionals. Then you can choose a specific region, to see all the possibilities close to home. Finally, you can conduct your own research based on your professional sector and also set a range for the salary you expect. Currently the section dedicated to competitions does not present opportunities that will be published in the coming weeks, however.
