The extent of the reduction of tourist sizes per region of the country, in the first year of the pandemic, is reflected, inter alia, in the third edition of the Annual Reports on Competitiveness and Structural Adjustment in the Tourism Sector of the 13 regions of the country published today by the Institute Association of Greek Tourism Enterprises (INSETE).
According to the data of the reports, the visits in the 13 regions of the country in the period 2019-2020 decreased by 77% (from 36.6 million in 2019 to 8.3 million in 2020). Respectively, tourist revenues in Greece in the same period decreased by 76% (from 17.7 billion euros in 2019 to 4.3 billion euros in 2020).
