“Inside Out 2” voice actors share production details; look

The premiere of “Inside Out 2” took place this Saturday (15) in São Paulo and brought together the Brazilian voice actors from the animation. In an interview with CNN the interpreters of old and new emotions shared their expectations regarding the film.

Before the film was shown to a select audience, those responsible for dubbing the Disney film walked on a red carpet and met. It was the case of Otaviano Costa (Fear), Dani Calabresa (Disgust), Miá Mello (Joy), Katiuscia Canoro (Sadness), Gaby Milani (Envy) and Fernando Mendonça (Shame).

For the general public, the film, which is a sequel to the 2015 animation, will be released next Thursday (20).

Four ancient emotions: Sadness, Fear, Disgust and Joy

After dubbing the Sadness in 2015, Katiuscia He says that returning to this role in a new film is the “greatest emotion of his life” and adds: “I think this is one of the jobs I loved doing most in my life. I’m in love with ‘Inside Out’ and Sadness is the best, right? It’s the feeling that we are born with, because we are born crying.”

Octavian Costa , who has already dubbed other Disney films, such as “Incredibles 2”, says that he was really looking forward to the continuation of the story of “Inside Out”. Another actress who was present in the first title and returned for the sequel is Dani Calabresa which gives voice to Disgusting . In an interview with CNN the artist mentions that her first dubbing was in “Inside Out” in 2015 and, like Otaviano, she always hoped that a sequel would be released.

Mia Mello in turn, said that starring Happiness it was a date. “If I had to use some vocal resource, but no, I’m just [alegre]. It was very special. I came back to this job even more excited and it’s really crazy, because when we dub, we don’t have a script beforehand, we don’t watch the whole film, it’s a job where you need to be very present”, she says.

Shame and Envy: two of the new emotions

The new film returns to the mind of Riley, who is now a teenager, exactly at the moment when the control center undergoes demolition, giving way to a series of new emotions.
