After getting married a few days ago, with an intimate civil ceremony in the municipality of San Lazzaro di Savena, in the province of Bologna, Ignatius Boschetto of The Flight and former Miss Venezuela Michelle Bartolini Saturday 14th September the promises of eternal love were repeated with a symbolic (dream) ceremony on Lake Como. Hosting the second wedding was a magical place: Villa Sola Cabiati, an ancient neoclassical residence overlooking the lake. The newlyweds said “I do” again in front of relatives and friends – including, of course, Piero Barone and Gianluca Ginoble, the other two members of the famous pop lyric trio The Flight – in the park that once housed the botanical gardens of Villa Carlotta. The wedding was celebrated by Silvio Vettorello, the general manager of the Grand Hotel Tremezzo (adjacent to the villa), who has managed the location since 2017.
Ignazio, in a dark suit with double-breasted jacket and bow tie, accompanied to the altar by his mother and sister (her father died a few years ago), at the entrance of Michelle – who was wearing a long, romantic-cut dress – he couldn’t hold back his tears. And then he also got emotional during the exchange of promises: «Our history is unique“, he told his bride. “One of those stories you see in movies or tell to children. After the romantic moments and the lunch overlooking Lake Como, in the evening it was time for the celebrations for the newlyweds and their guests, complete with trio performance The Flight (which moved everyone). The wedding party ended with a show of fireworks, always with a view of the lakeduring the cutting of the cake: a five-tier white wedding cake decorated with small flowers and a topper with the initials of the bride and groom. A fairytale party that Michelle and Ignazio then recounted on Instagram, writing: «That day we will never forget».
