The miniseries “Decameron” inspired by the book of the same name by Giovanni Boccaccio entered the Netflix catalog this Thursday (25). In total, there are eight episodes with an average duration of 55 minutes each.
In the plot, set in 1348, the bubonic plague hits rural Italy hard, and a group of nobles stay in a mansion with their servants to escape the disease. But what begins as a wine-fueled orgy turns into a great fight for survival.
The production stars Tony Hale (“Veep”), Zosia Mamet (“The Flight Attendant”), Tanya Reynolds (“Sex Education”), Saoirse-Monica Jackson (“Derry Girls”) and more. The series is from the same creator as “Bounty Hunters” (2020), Kathleen Jordan .
