The agencies of the National Institute of Social Security (INSS) across the country will not work this Friday (28), due to Public Servant Day.
Although the physical branches are not open, according to the institute, the telephone service center 135 will work normally to serve citizens.
If made from landlines, calls to 135 are free; on cell phones, the charge is for a local call.
By telephone, policyholders can apply for social security, obtain guidance, clarify doubts, request benefits and schedule face-to-face assistance, among other services.
The insured can also access the application or the Meu INSS portal, where it is possible to apply for benefits, issue statements, fulfill requirements and schedule face-to-face appointments.
In these two channels, the INSS also has the virtual assistant Helô (chat), which answers questions about services and benefits.
There will also be no office next Wednesday, November 2nd, due to the Day of the Dead. On that day, there will only be electronic service.
