Retirees and pensioners of the National Social Security Institute (INSS) will start receiving, on the 25th, the benefit with readjustment.
The payment date depends on the amount the insured earns and what the end of the benefit number is, without considering the digit. First, policyholders who earn up to one minimum wage receive, which went from R$ 1,212 in 2022 to R$ 1,320 this year, an increase of almost 9%. In these cases, deposits will be made until February 7th.
Those who receive more than the national floor will begin to have their payments readjusted from February 1st. For these policyholders, the increase usually follows inflation measured by the INPC (National Consumer Price Index), which will be released by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) on the 10th.

In order to know when the payment will be deposited, the insured must have the final number of the benefit card in hand, without considering the last check digit (the one that comes after the dash).
For example, in benefit number (NB) 123.456.789 -0, the final digit is 9.
For those who have been receiving the benefit for “some time”, according to the official statement from the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, the usual date applies. Look:

On December 8, the INSS released the benefit payment schedule for the entire year of 2023. In all, there are more than 37 million insured persons covered.
Those who receive up to one minimum wage will start paying in the last week of the month, while insured persons with income above the social security floor will have their deposits started in the first week of the following month.
It is worth remembering that deposits are interrupted on weekends, national holidays and dates when banks do not operate.
