A public servant from the National Institute of Social Security (INSS) is being investigated by the Federal Police of Sergipe, suspected of integrating a social security fraud scheme. According to investigations, the criminal organization acted across the country, leaving a loss of millionaire proportions.
On the morning of Thursday (3), Federal Police teams, with the support of the INSS National Intelligence General Coordination, gave compliance with a search and seizure warrant in Aracaju, the capital of Sergipe, with the objective of collecting evidence and strengthening investigations.
The PF has already identified that the server, which has not been named, had been in unlawful practice since September 2023. The suspect is accused of releasing more than 20,000 unlockets of benefits for hiring loans, without the authorization of the holder or his legal representative.
The Federal Police and the INSS are still investigating the amounts improperly released through the action of the server. It is investigated for crimes of false data entering in information and corruption systems.
