INSS (National Social Security Institute) retirees and pensioners who earn more than one minimum wage (R$ 1,212, in 2022) begin to receive the first installment of the 13th salary this Monday (2).
The filing date varies according to the final benefit number, without considering the digit.
This Monday’s deposit, for example, will be for those who earn more than the minimum wage and have a final benefit number 1 or 6.
For those who earn up to one minimum wage, payments started on the 25th and continue until the 6th of this month. In this case, this Monday’s deposit is for those who have a benefit number ending in 6.

Value of the 1st installment
The first installment of the 13th salary of INSS insured persons corresponds to 50% of the benefit amount. The exception is for those who started to receive the benefit after January. In this case, the value will be calculated proportionally.
According to the government, policyholders who receive temporary disability benefits (formerly sick pay) can also have a share lower than 50%. In this case, the anticipation is calculated according to the duration of the benefit.

2nd installment of the 13th salary
