Instagram developers are working on several new features at once, which include an affiliate program, AI-based photo editing tools, and tighter controls in private messages. Developer Alessandro Paluzzi has shared screenshots showing all of the above features.
Instagram has been working on a new affiliate program for some time now that will allow popular users and influential bloggers to monetize their content on the platform.
Additionally, Instagram is testing a photo editing feature called Brightness.AI. At the moment, there is no description of this function, but, as you might guess from the name, it automatically adjusts the brightness of the image using artificial intelligence algorithms.

Finally, another important change in the Instagram app is the new “Content controls” option, which will allow you to block certain keywords in private messages. It will appear in the “Privacy” section, and users will have the option to exclude all private messages containing the specified keywords. Users will also be able to choose whether they want to enable this feature for everyone or only for certain accounts.

All these features are currently in development, and judging by the fact that Instagram does not advertise these changes in any way, it is difficult to predict the timing of their appearance in the application.
