Intel has finally unveiled the highly anticipated mobile high-performance Tiger Lake-H processors with six and eight cores. Recall that the Tiger Lake line was released last fall, then at the beginning of this we were shown Tiger Lake-H35, but with only four cores. All this time, with a good new architecture, Intel could not offer really powerful modern mobile CPUs.
Now she has them. Earlier leaks on these processors told us everything, but let’s repeat the basics.

So, we were shown five models, two of which received six cores, and the rest have eight. The top-end Core i9-11980HK stands out for its overclocking capabilities, but you have to pay for it in power consumption. Also worth noting is the base GPU Xe with 32 compute units. Unfortunately, Intel does not say when the new CPUs will launch, but the many leaks about gaming laptops with such processors give hope that this will happen soon.

Intel also showed similar CPUs in the Intel vPro series, and several Xeon W-1100 models aimed at workstations.
