Customers will be able to order it until April 29, 2022, with the last shipments scheduled for October 28, 2022. Intel said that demand for the Xeon W CPU is declining, so the company will focus on other solutions.

However, the Xeon W-3175X itself has always raised questions. Initially presented at the end of 2018, it was a mixture of a server CPU in the LGA 3647 and a solution from the HEDT segment. Initially, the company positioned it as a processor for enthusiasts, but then began to say that it was addressed exclusively to system integrators. In addition, under the cover of the Xeon W-3175X there was a so-called thermal gum, not solder, which already raised questions.

At the same time, at the initial stage, CPU prices reached $ 4,000, and even now the recommended value is $ 3,000.
