Intel NUC 11 Extreme Mini PC (Beast Canyon) to Get Powerful Tiger Lake-H Processors and Full-Size Discrete Graphics Cards

The source has details of the upcoming Intel NUC 11 Extreme (aka Beast Canyon) desktop mini-PC. The computer will be equipped with powerful Intel Tiger Lake-H processors (there are three versions – with Core i9, Core i7 and Core i5) and full-size discrete graphics cards. What kind of 3D cards they will be is not reported, but there are not very many options: Nvidia Ampere and / or AMD RDNA2. Intel does not yet have its own discrete graphics cards comparable to the same GeForce RTX 3070 and Radeon RX 6800 XT in performance.

Intel NUC 11 Extreme supports DDR3-3200 MHz memory and supports up to three M.2 SSDs. Moreover, since Tiger Lake-H supports the PCIe 4.0 bus, the video card and solid state drives will work at full speed. Also announced support for two ports with the Thunderbolt 4 interface, adapters Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5 and 2.5 or 10 Gigabit Ethernet. The official premiere of Intel NUC 11 Extreme (Beast Canyon) is expected next week during Intel’s Computex 2021 event.
