Intel has released a graphics driver for Rocket Lake-S processors. Recall that these CPUs were released on March 30, but, as we noticed later, without an official graphics driver.

The reasons for this delay are unknown, besides, it is unclear whether the driver would have been released today if they had not started writing about the current situation on the Web. It is especially interesting that the driver added today is dated March 3 of this year. That is, this is not some new version of the software, but the one that Intel already had for other processors with GPU Xe. This is logical, since the graphics cores do not differ, but because of this, the issue of the driver release delay becomes even more interesting. In any case, now everyone can download the software.
Recall that the Rocket Lake-S processors have a new GPU Xe, but only with 32 computing units. This does not allow new products to compete with Ryzen desktop APUs in terms of graphics performance.
