At a meeting with investors, Intel’s management outlined the key points of its strategy and ways to achieve its main goals. In particular, the Accelerated Computing Systems and Graphics Group (AXG) plans to release more than 4 million discrete GPUs this year and increase the revenue of this business to $10 billion by 2026.
In the first quarter, laptops with Intel Arc graphics, codenamed Alchemist, will appear, and desktop counterparts will follow in the second quarter. Intel graphics cards for workstations will appear in the third quarter.

Now the company has begun work on the Celestial architecture, a third generation graphics designed for the “ultra-enthusiast” segment. Details about these graphics accelerators are not yet available.
Intel also announced a streaming service based on its discrete graphics called Project Endgame. The company promises access to Intel Arc graphics cards through a cloud service to ensure low-latency computing is always available. Some foreign resources have already suggested that Intel may launch a subscription cloud gaming service – something like NVIDIA’s GeForce Now. Project Endgame will also be available this year.
