All leaks were confirmed – the top CPU will receive 24 cores and 32 threads, that is, it will have 8 large cores and 16 small ones. Raptor Lake will retain both the LGA 1700 design and the Intel 7 (10nm) process technology. Also, new CPUs will still be able to support DDR4 memory.

Recall, according to available data, large cores will switch to the updated Raptor Cove architecture, while small ones will remain on Gracemont.

In terms of performance, Intel promises a double-digit increase, but, as always, firstly, you need to wait for the tests, and secondly, a lot will depend on the specific application.

Raptor Lake will be released in the second half of this year and will compete with Ryzen 7000.
