The command of the police intelligence directorate should be in charge of delegate Alessandro Moretti, current director of information technology at the Federal Police.

The new director general of the PF has already served as regional superintendent of the police force in the Federal District and executive secretary of the Ministry of Justice.

The change of command of the PF, made official on Friday (25), took the top of the corporation by surprise, including former director general Paulo Maiurino.

According to reports made to CNN by PF sources, the then commander of the corporation was informed of his departure a few hours before the publication of the change in the Official Gazette of the Union (DOU).

The Minister of Justice, Anderson Torres, had not given any indication in recent days to the top of the Federal Police that there would be a change in the position of the delegate-general, which is usually done in situations of exchanges.

THE CNN sought the PF to position itself on possible changes, but still had no response.
