International Association of Genocide Scholars: The legal definition of genocide is met by Israel’s actions in Gaza

A resolution was adopted today by the International Association of Genocide Scholars (IAGS), which states that the legal criteria are being met that Israel is committing genocide in the Gaza Strip, according to its president today. 86% of those who voted among the 500 members of the IAGS supported this resolution, which said that “Israel’s policies and actions in Gaza meet the legal definition of genocide under Article II of the UN Convention on the Prevention and Crime of Genocide”. There is currently no reaction from Israel. A new wave of night bombings hit the night yesterday on Saturday to Sunday various sectors in the Gaza Strip, especially the homonymous city, where the Israeli army is preparing for a large -scale attack to overwhelm it to “end it”.
