International Space Station can be seen from the sky of Paraná from this Saturday

The International Space Station – the acronym in English International Space Station (ISS), can be seen with the naked eye from Paraná, this Saturday (16). The station – which serves as a laboratory for technologies and allows studying the long-term impacts of spaceflight on humans – will fly over the capital Curitiba and Cascavel, in the west of the state.

In Curitiba, she can be seen today at 18:33 for seven minutes. On Sunday (17), at 19:23 for four minutes. On Monday (18), at 18:34 for six minutes.

In Cascaval, the station can also be seen this Saturday at 8:11 pm for two minutes and tomorrow at 7:22 pm for five minutes.

In the capital of Paraná, the station was already seen on Wednesday (13) at 7:22 pm for two minutes, on Thursday (14), at 5:14 pm, at 6:35 pm and at 8:11 pm for three, four and one minute, respectively, and on Friday Friday (15), at 19:22 for four minutes.

According to NASA, all sightings will occur within a few hours before or after sunrise or sunset. This is the ideal viewing period as the sun reflects off the space station and contrasts with the darker sky.

“It’s the third brightest object in the sky and easy to spot if you know when to look up. Visible to the naked eye, it looks like a fast-moving plane, but much higher and traveling thousands of kilometers per hour faster!
