Internet Computer token was able to enter the top 10 of the market after listing on Coinbase

The launch of the Internet Computer (ICP) token of the Dfinity project on Coinbase Pro instantly made it one of the largest cryptocurrencies.

According to CoinGecko, the Internet Computer (ICP) token from the Dfinity Foundation went on sale on the American cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase Pro on Monday, reaching $ 700 at some point and then dropping to about $ 342.

The current price hovers around $ 345, which is in line with the FTX derivative contract associated with the ICP token.

According to Messari, 469,213,710 tokens were created. Based on this issue and the price of $ 342, the market capitalization should be $ 160.5 billion.

At the same time, a clause is made that only about 26% of tokens are in circulation.

Based on this information, the market cap is $ 41.7 billion, making ICP the seventh largest cryptocurrency. Above it is Cardano (ADA) with $ 55 billion, and below it is Polkadot (DOT) with $ 36 billion.

FTX rolled out the ICP on May 6, the day after Coinbase announced its planned ICP listing.

The Dfinity smart contract platform operates at the speed of the internet (according to Dfinity) and can run all applications from the open network and blockchains such as Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain.
