Interval skincare enhances the effects of the assets in the products

After theinterval training in the gym to train, interval eating at the table to lose weight, here is theinterval skincare, the beauty routine based onalternation of different active ingredients.

The researchers of the most important cosmetic companies, with tests involving a sample of women of all ages, have realized that all treatment products tend to reach the plateau, that is, a phase of stability of the results after three months. Let’s take an eye contour cream as an example.

Its average life cycle is more or less this: the first week the results are important and visible. The skin is fine, it begins to look brighter and generates very high expectations in those who are using it. By the fourth week, a general improvement is definitely noticeable. Fine lines around the eyes have faded, dark circles or bags are less noticeable. By the eighth week, the eye area still looks good. At the twelfth, however, the condition of the skin is the same as a month before.

Whoever puts the cream day and night would like to see a situation in constant growth, but the cream, after reaching its peak, seems to be unable to go further. Researchers think maybe it’s time to change the scheme of the daily routine. The plateau affects many other areas.

In fitness, interval training is used to prevent muscles from getting used to the same exercise while rotation diets such as 5: 2 are designed to keep the body’s metabolism high. Skin care could also benefit from an interval methodology.

RESEARCH: THE STARTING POINT
There are those who have studied pairs of products to alternate, a bit like the 5: 2 diet: one for the first five days, the other on the weekend. For example, 5 days of treatment with hyaluronic acid to hydrate and replenish and two days with a retinol product to regenerate the skin and make it more ready for the following days. The clinical tests carried out by the beauty houses, especially for the products assume, on samples of over a thousand women, aged between 35 and 65 years, for a period of at least one year, they gave decidedly positive results. Already after the first six months of testing, interval skincare has changed the trend of anti-aging creams that stop working after the fateful three months. In fact, two-thirds of the women tested agreed that each month their skin looked better than the previous month.

At the end of the study, the women looked younger than a year earlier because the anti-aging treatment, alternating with other products, continued to give results, never reaching the plateau. In addition to anti-aging products, interval skincare applies very well to progressive peels, products to be used at night for short periods, to stimulate cell renewal and allow the skin to be more receptive to the active substances used during the day. Phase one contains AHAs to eliminate dead skin cells in a 14-night cycle. Phase two for the next 14 nights contains a blend of salicylic acid and glycolic acid to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Interval peels are designed to be used up to six times a year, so they are recommended at the change of season and never while in the sun.
