Intracom Telecom has announced the expansion of its cooperation with Dialog Axiata PLC, the largest telecommunications service provider in Sri Lanka, which provides the provision of fixed wireless network (FWA) solutions at 10.5 GHz.
Intracom Telecom’s WiBAS τεχνο technology has been integrated into Dialog’s network since 2015 and has effectively contributed to the improvement of the quality of the provided broadband services and the coverage of the provider’s network.
Dialog will directly benefit from the technological and financial advantages of the Software Defined WiBAS ρα radio system, demonstrating its practical trust in Intracom Telecom technologies. The solution fully met the technical criteria of the provider during the evaluation stage. The radio system, purely external, operates through software (Outdoor Software Defined Radio) allowing operation in two-point (PtP) and multi-point (PtMP) topology with software configuration, offering Dialog a unified way of providing services using the necessary equipment.
